Endhiran to be released on Sept 24
Saturday, August 7, 2010 1:53Endhiran whose audio release has happened last month is gearing up for release as its post production work are going on in full swing . Trade sources have indicated that Sun Pictures magnum opus Endhiran is gearing up for a September 24 opening worldwide.
Earlier, the trade was talking about Sep 10, as it is a fantastic weekend with two public holidays Ramzan and Vinayaka Chathurthi.
But now it looks like the film will take time as AR Rahman is on a world tour and the re-recording has to squeeze in with his tight itinerary.
It looks like Sep 24 will be the release date, as the technical crew working on the film will have a deadline to keep.
Endhiran marketing and sales will also start soon, and the trade feels the release date is a clear six weeks before Diwali (November 5).
This will enable the film which will get a solo release to sweep the market, as there will not be any opposition till Diwali.
