Endhiran Telugu and Kannada Rights sold for Record Price
Tuesday, August 17, 2010 1:41A new record has been set yet again by the new Rajinikanth movie Endhiran which has already generated insane amounts of revenue and created the opportunity for quite a few fraud cases. The new film from Sun Pictures is going to set a new record, and this would be the most expensive movie ever made in India. And so, yet another record has been set by them in places like Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
The film rights of Endhiran have finally been sold in both Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, according to the rumors. And the sum is a staggering 33 Crores in Andhra Pradesh and 9.75 Crores in Karnataka. This has virtually broken all records of a Tamil movie sell price, and has set a new record. The Telegu version of the movie has gone up to a huge sum of money and for the film rights of a movie which has been dubbed this is possibly the highest amount of money for which it has been sold.
The film is going to be released in three different languages Tamil, Telegu and Hindi, and it would be launched in September.
