Endhiran-Most Expensive Indian Flim
Saturday, January 30, 2010 17:41Shankar announced Endhiran project in 2001 with Kamal to star against Preity Zinta. It was given up then. Later, there were going lots of news that Ajith Kumar would act in the movie. The news went on air then. A year ago, Shankar announced the project with Sharukh Khan, but it didn’t last longer. News claimed that both had some differences and canceled the project.
Once again, Shankar joins hands with the India’s veteran actor Rajinikanth to develop the 120 crores film in Kollywood. For the first time, Bollywood top actress Aishwarya Rai co-stars with Rajinikanth in the movie.Rajinikanth confirmed his mass hero role in Endhiran, and the team with Shankar, Aishwarya Rai, and A.R.Rahman.The project is estimated to go ahead for next two years.
# The whole Sivaji team with Shankar, Rajinikanth, A.R Rahman, Vairamuthu, K.V Anand will continue working in Endhiran. The team misses the famous writer Sujatha who passed away recently. Balakumaran will replace Sujatha’s work in the movie.
# A tamil daily claimed that there would be more than 10 assistant-directors working for Endhiran, including director Bharathiraja’s son and actor Manoj.
The close Source says that ”90% joint ventures finished and ready to be Display, The movie is expected to be released by April 2010.”
